Erwin Jung founded the company in 2010. The impetus for this was provided by discussions during a molding conference: the laboratory managers were looking for objective measuring methods whose results do not depend on the daily form of individual employees.

At the beginning, in cooperation with the Institute for Foundry Technology (now BDG), he further developed the universal device for the molding material test and later expanded his product range to include his own individual devices.

Jung also uses his experience with "Stroehlein" and "Juwe Laborgeräte" to offer devices for elemental analysis and determination of the specific surface area of ​​solids.
